Long Island Park - Long Island

Long Island Park is located along the beautiful Staunton River and is a short drive from historic Brookneal. This is a popular "put in" for boaters wishing to travel down river to Brookneal, and is also a popular "take out" for those floating down the river from Altavista. Visitors to Long Island Park may also enjoy viewing the native flora and fauna from the walking trails. For those wishing to stay the night, primitive camping amenities are available.
