Danville River District

The "HOME" sign, which dates back to 1947, was formerly part of the “Home of Dan River Fabrics” sign that was displayed on Dan River Inc.’s White Mill for decades. It is built of steel and was completely custom made.

The sign now belongs to the Danville Historical Society and serves as a reminder of Dan River Inc.'s economic contribution.

The historic “HOME” sign is temporarily installed at Main and Union streets. It serves as the perfect backdrop for photos and is a constant reminder of Danville's past.
