River District Artisans

River District Artisans is a retail artisan center where people of all abilities come together to share and sell their handcrafted items.

Today, eight in house artisans handcraft soft goods such as quilts, pillows, sock monkeys, blankets, dog beds and more in a variety of beautiful patterns and styles. These artisans previously worked at the Hatcher Center, a program of The Arc of Southside that provides vocational training. Each artisan now works at River District Artisans sharing their talents with the entire community!

In addition to our in house artisans we have over 25 independent artisans from the community who make and sell a wide variety of items such as paintings, wooden items, pottery, jewelry, glass art and much much more.
