Weddings at The Homeplace Vineyard

The Homeplace Vineyad was originally purchased in 1912. Traditionally a tobacco farm, the family planted their first grapes, Traminette, in March 2005. They added Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin and Viognier over the next three years respectively. We currently are tending approximately 5,600 vines on just over nine acres.

The grounds feature a tasting room, gazebo, newly constructed event facility and plenty of parking. The event facility is a 96 by 48 foot barn/building with 12 foot porches, concrete floors, pine walls and six roll up doors to let in fresh air. The building can accommodate 150 guests inside and up to 220 people when the roll up doors are open. Tables and chairs are available.
